Vermont - Massachusetts - New York

Photography Vacation

October 2008

We were in Vermont for a photography workshop and decided to spend a few days working our way back home.  Our goal was to hop our way thru Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York taking pictures along the way.  Each leg of the trip was 50-60 miles apart with loads of fall color to see along the way.

We rode a scenic railroad in Vermont, hiked trails in some state parks, crossed some covered bridges, and photographed waterfalls, streams, lakes, barns, old country stores, and small New England towns.  We even drove up Vermont’s Mt. Equinox and arrived at the summit in a snow.  The traveling sculptures by J. Seward Johnson, Jr. sited in Bennington VT were a sight as well.

Here is a sample of the images we took….
